It is estimated that about 495 people donated about $ 51977 (by Chicago time 7:30pm, 1/30/2020) through PayPal. We have received the checks of $14400. The total donation is expected to be about $66,400. We will find time to finish the financial report. The board will have the meeting to discuss how to use the remaining donated money to support in fighting COVID-19 in China. Financial chair Dr. Xiongying Chen will send the receipt to every donator soon.
We have purchased more than 50,000 (23000 N95 masks, 24600 surgical masks, 10000 non-medical masks, 853 protective Goggles). The majority of them were sent to Wuhan, China. We sent them in 7 shipping through USPS Priority, FedEx Global Express, special green channel

We have sent the first 10,000 surgical masks to Wuhan through USPS on 1/23/2020. The masks were stuck in Shanghai custom. We’re waitting for the update from Wuhan.
Status: Wuhan Church (武汉教会) and Food Donation Center (食品捐赠中心) finally received all the 10,000 surgical masks on 2/12/2020.

We sent 19000 N95 masks to Chicago on 1/28, and the Cargo plane of Hainan airline directly shipped these masks from Chicago to China on 1/30/2020. This was the most successful one. Thank the MVI Minnesota volunteers for their hardworking.

We sent 9600 surgical masks and 600 N95 masks to Wuhan through USPs on 1/30/2020. All were cleared in Guangzhou Custom. Among them, 6900 surgical masks were destinated to Wuhan Fifth Hospital, and 600 N95 masks and 2700 surgical masks were destinated to WuGang general Hospital (武汉钢铁总医院).
Status: WuGang general Hospital (武汉钢铁总医院) received the entire shipping, all the 600 N95 masks on 2/7/2020 and 2700 surgical masks on 2/13/2020.
Wuhan Fifth hospital received the entire shipping with 3600 surgical masks on 2/14/2020, and 3300 surgical masks on 2/17/2020.
