The MVI- CASA COVID-19 Fund for China – Closed

The MVI- CASA COVID-19 Epidemic Special Fund by Medical Volunteers International (MVI) and Chinese American Society of Anesthesiology was closed on February 2nd, 2020. We no longer accept any donation for this purpose. Thank you for your support and loving hearts!

It is estimated that about 495 people donated about $ 51977 (by Chicago time 7:30pm, 1/30/2020) through PayPal. We have received the checks of $14400. The total donation is expected to be about $66,400. We will find time to finish the financial report. The board will have the meeting to discuss how to use the remaining donated money to support in fighting COVID-19 in China. Financial chair Dr. Xiongying Chen will send the receipt to every donator soon.

We have purchased more than 50,000 (23000 N95 masks, 24600 surgical masks, 10000 non-medical masks, 853 protective Goggles). The majority of them were sent to Wuhan, China. We sent them in 7 shipping through USPS Priority, FedEx Global Express, special green channel.
